Our Family
Café La Crème has been a family-run business since it was started in 2014 by owner and cake-extraordinaire Sheryl Reid. Although Sheryl is the boss, if you come and see us for a coffee or cake you will also notice some other familiar faces! Daughters Alisha, Alice and Lillie help out on Sundays throughout the year and school holidays. Another very important member of the team (and one we couldn't do without) is our very own handyman and Number 1 Supporter Murray Reid. You may also meet a rather friendly, furry fellow up at Ranmore Common by the name of George. He is our Hungarian Vizsla with the important job of trying to greet everyone that visits!
About CiCi
CiCi is self-contained with its own built-in water storage supply, gas/electric powered by a compact, low noise generator... so it can be set up virtually anywhere!
We are fully insured and have all correct health and Safety qualifications as well as a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating.
We accept both cash and card payments at Café La Crème (including Contactless and Apple/Android Pay)

CiCi's Transformation
Our 1967 Citroen Hvan- lovingly called CiCi- went under quite a remarkable transformation that took 5 months in total. As you can see from the pictures above, CiCi was originally a gun-metal grey and bare inside. The first step to converting her was to paint her our chosen olive green and cream colour scheme. After that it was off to be fitted!
Fitting CiCi with all the necessary parts for a mobile cafe took the longest. As seen in the pictures, not only did appliances need to be installed but we also needed to construct shelves, cupboards, storage and worktops!
